Naturopathy and cupping therapy, practised with care
We offer naturopathic therapies, in particular cupping – carried out exclusively by Heilpraktiker who hold the required official licence.
In Germany, a Heilpraktiker is a non-medical practitioner who holds an official licence to practise naturopathy under the Heilpraktiker Act (Heilpraktikergesetz). Heilpraktiker are not medical doctors.
Cupping is a traditional naturopathic method that has been used in many cultures for centuries. In dry cupping, cups are placed on the skin using suction; in wet cupping – known in the Arab world as hijama – small, superficial incisions are first made in the skin.
Every treatment begins with a thorough consultation. Together, we establish whether treatment is an option for you – or whether you should seek medical advice first.
